Jesse Hart has a diverse background in environmental and conservation work. Starting in 2014, they worked as an Environmental Intern for the Haverford Township Recreation Department, where they focused on native tree planting, invasive species management, and stream bank restoration. In 2015, they became a Part-Time Environmental Educator for the Green Valleys Watershed Association. From 2016 to the present, they worked as an Environmental Program Coordinator for the Haverford Township Parks and Recreation Department, managing the riparian forest buffer management program and coordinating volunteer efforts. In 2016, they also interned as a Program Intern at the Tyler Arboretum, where they taught field trips and engaged the community in arboretum activities. In 2018, they became a Head Soccer Coach for Steel Sports. Their most recent position, starting in 2022, is as a Project Manager at ArcheWild, where they plan, design, and implement restoration projects while managing relationships and seeking grant opportunities. Throughout their various roles, Jesse has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to conservation and environmental education.
Jesse Hart completed their high school education at Haverford Senior High School from 2008 to 2012, earning a High School Diploma. They then pursued further education at Ursinus College from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree. During their time at Ursinus College, Jesse studied Environmental Science, as well as Business and Economics.
In addition to their formal education, Jesse has obtained various certifications. They received a Master Watershed Steward certification from Penn State Coop Extension in November 2022. In October 2021, Jesse obtained an FAW C Certificate from the Football Association of Wales. They also hold a Pesticide Applicator certification from the AGRICULTURE, PENNSYLVANIA DEPARTMENT OF, acquired in August 2021. Jesse's qualifications extend beyond environmental and sport-related fields, as they obtained a USSF D License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in May 2020. Moreover, Jesse is also a Certified Tree Tender, certified by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) in October 2019.
