Kurt Umland

Kurt Umland has a strong background in finance and accounting. Kurt started their career at Calstrip Industries in 2008 as a Controller and held this position until 2015. From 2016 to 2022, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Calstrip Industries. Recently, in 2022, Kurt joined Steel Technologies as the Director of Accounting for the Southwest region.

Kurt Umland attended California State University, Los Angeles from 1976 to 1978, earning a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they studied at Pasadena City College from 1974 to 1976, majoring in Business/Commerce, General. Their high school education was completed at South Pasadena High School.
