Jason co-founded Steel Wool Studios in 2012 and held various roles including executive producer and creative director. Jason was responsible for directing several projects, including video games such as "Five Night's at Freddy's: Security Breach" and "Ready Player One: Battle for the Oasis". As a producer, they worked on projects such as "The Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth" and various virtual reality experiences.

In 2013, Topolski founded Ameritrash Games LLC and successfully funded their tabletop board game, "Camp Grizzly", on Kickstarter.

Jason then worked as an associate producer at Telltale Games from 2014 to 2016, contributing to the "Tales from the Borderlands" series.
