Director Of Family-centered Philanthropy at Steelcase Foundation

Stacy Stout is a dedicated leader in philanthropy and equity-centered practices with extensive experience in creating and implementing programs that promote community well-being and systemic change. As the inaugural Director of Family-Centered Philanthropy at the Steelcase Foundation, Stacy spearheads the Investment In Families Initiative focused on supporting Black and Latina mothers in Kent County, Michigan. Prior to this role, Stacy served as the Director of Equity and Engagement for the City of Grand Rapids, where significant achievements included establishing a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis and enhancing community engagement strategies. Additionally, Stacy provided independent consulting services to foster equity in grantmaking and leadership training. With a strong educational background that includes fellowships and degrees from institutions such as Morehouse School of Medicine and Harvard University, Stacy continues to advocate for equitable practices in various sectors.
