Tirthankar Basu

Tirthankar Basu has extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as Managing Director for India and SAARC at Steelcase since December 2007. Prior titles at Steelcase include Director of APAC Strategic Initiatives, Director of Sales for India focused on new initiatives, Associate Director, and Regional Manager. Prior to Steelcase, Tirthankar held the position of Regional Manager at Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting from 1997 to 2007. Tirthankar's academic qualifications include a Middle Management Executive Program from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, an MBA in Marketing from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Govt. College of Engineering, Karad. Additionally, Tirthankar completed secondary education at Kendriya Vidyalaya.
