Patrícia Lima

Patrícia Lima has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Patrícia began their career as a Python Developer and Trade Surveillance Engineer at SteelEye in September 2020. In October 2021, they transitioned into the role of Python Developer and Data Intelligence Team Lead within the same company.

Prior to their time at SteelEye, Patrícia worked at Euronext as a Software Engineer from April to September 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at Euronext, including Software Developer and Tools and Automation Developer Trainee, where they gained experience in PHP, Python, Java, Angular, and MySQL.

In addition to their experiences in the corporate world, Patrícia has also worked as a Research Fellow at the Center of Biological Engineering from January 2016 to February 2018. During this time, they developed computational tools and validated mathematical metabolic models using Python.

Earlier on in their career, Patrícia worked as a Python Developer at the Department of Informatics, School of Engineering, University of Minho from December 2013 to August 2014. In this role, they developed methods to compare and validate genetic sequences in biological databases using Python and MySQL.

Patrícia Lima completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Universidade do Minho between 2010 and 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho from 2013 to 2015.
