Kevin Allen has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Kevin most recently served as President and CEO of SMX Industrial Solutions since October 2023. Prior to this, they were the President and Owner of Steelmax Tools LLC since April 2010. Kevin also held the role of Managing Member at 5280 Partners, LLC starting from January 2001. From May 2009 to April 2010, they were the President and CEO of SLiM Search Technologies, Inc., where they introduced a new search enhancement and collaboration solution. Before that, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Aubice LLC from March 2007 until April 2010. Kevin's earlier roles include Vice Chairman & CEO of Rifkin & Associates from August 1996 to December 2001, and Vice President at BT Securities Corporation from August 1992 to August 1996.

Kevin Allen completed their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1979 to 1983. Kevin then pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1986. Later, Kevin attended The Wharton School from 1986 to 1988, where they obtained an MBA with a specialization in Finance.
