Daniel Niesen, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2011, they started as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, where they worked until 2016. Following that, they joined Providence College as an Adjunct Faculty member for a brief period in 2016. In 2017, they became the Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager at Wellness Connection of Maine. Later that year, they transitioned to the role of Laboratory Director at Steep Hill, a company focused on providing comprehensive cannabinoid and terpenoid profiles for legally-authorized cannabis distributors, producers, and regulators.

Daniel Niesen, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General from Susquehanna University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
