Ryan Kobylarz, Ph.D

Ryan Kobylarz, Ph.D has a diverse work experience in the field of laboratory management and research. Currently, they are serving as the Laboratory Manager at Steep Hill, where they are responsible for creating a productive work environment and monitoring employee performance. In their previous role as the Quality Assurance Director at North Coast Testing Laboratories, they ensured the adherence to quality standards. Prior to that, Ryan worked as a Laboratory Manager, Supervisory Analyst, and Lab Supervisor at AgriScience Labs, where they oversaw various laboratory operations. Ryan also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland, contributing to biochemistry research. Additionally, Ryan gained experience as a Post-Baccalaureate Cancer Research Training Award recipient at the National Cancer Institute, focusing on ligand binding assays. Ryan also participated in research internships at Duke University and Tufts University, where they explored optical techniques and studied nanocomposites.

Ryan Kobylarz, Ph.D completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Gallaudet University, from 2004 to 2008. Ryan then pursued further education at the University of Maryland, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Biochemistry, spanning from 2009 to 2015.
