Louise Sawers

Louise Sawers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Louise currently serves as the Head of Commercial Operations - Steer Americas at Steer since October 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of UK Commercial Operations at Steer from November 2022 to September 2023. As part of the UK senior leadership team, they were responsible for delivering target profitability and commercial outcomes for the UK business, including risk management, pricing, quality, resources, and suppliers. Before Steer, Louise worked as a Group Commercial Controller at Steer from November 2018 to March 2021. Louise was responsible for providing insight to the Executive team and ensuring the group's medium-term growth plans were in line with financial and commercial objectives. Prior to that, they served as a Group Financial Controller at Steer from September 2017 to October 2018. Louise led the global finance team, managed day-to-day accounting and tax operations across 10 countries, and provided financial analysis and support to business unit heads. Before joining Steer, Louise worked at PwC UK and PwC Canada in various positions within the Audit and Assurance Group. Louise also had a role as a Business Mentor at UnLtd Tamil Nadu.

Louise Sawers completed their education at Newcastle University, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Business Accounting and Finance. Prior to that, they obtained a degree as a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW. Additionally, there is information missing regarding their time at Invicta Grammar School.
