Adam O'Gorman is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in various roles across prominent companies. Currently serving as Lead Architect for OT/IT Convergence at Stegra since March 2024, Adam previously held the position of CTO at AFRY X, where responsibilities included leading the technical aspects of the M&A agenda and advising clients on Industrial IoT trends. Adam's career at IBM spanned over a decade, culminating in the role of Lead Architect and CTO for the Intelligent Connected Operations practice, overseeing a global team of technical consultants. Additional experience includes mentoring startups at The City University of New York and roles in IoT architecture and systems engineering at IBM and Vega Space Systems, respectively. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Imperial College London and a Master's degree in Spacecraft Technology and Satellite Communications from UCL.

Founded in 2020, Stegra (formerly H2 Green Steel) was created with the purpose to decarbonize hard-to-abate industry. Construction of our first project – an integrated plant producing green hydrogen, green iron and green steel – is well underway in Boden, Sweden. Slashing emissions using green hydrogen and renewable electricity, we’re starting a clean industrial revolution. Steel is just the beginning. We are building a diverse and rapidly growing team spread across our site and offices in Boden and Stockholm, targeting close to 1500 employees by the end of 2025.
