Nils Olofsson is a Sustainability Analyst at Stegra since January 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Trainee and Summer Intern in Life Cycle Management at Tetra Pak from June 2021 to December 2021, focusing on Global Master Data Management. Nils also contributed to Maskinsektionen inom Teknologkåren vid Lunds Tekniska Högskola as a Member of the Long Term Issues Committee and served as Vice President of the Festivities Committee from May 2019 to December 2020. Prior to these positions, Nils worked in sales at ICA Gruppen from June 2013 to August 2019. Nils holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, completed in June 2022.

Founded in 2020, Stegra (formerly H2 Green Steel) was created with the purpose to decarbonize hard-to-abate industry. Construction of our first project – an integrated plant producing green hydrogen, green iron and green steel – is well underway in Boden, Sweden. Slashing emissions using green hydrogen and renewable electricity, we’re starting a clean industrial revolution. Steel is just the beginning. We are building a diverse and rapidly growing team spread across our site and offices in Boden and Stockholm, targeting close to 1500 employees by the end of 2025. Together, we focus on delivering green impact – for our people, customers, investors, society and planet.
