Beth Schantzen

Vice President

Beth Schantzen has extensive experience in development and fundraising, beginning as a Development Assistant at Easter Seals Oregon from 1996 to 1997, where responsibilities included volunteer coordination and special events. From November 1998 to September 2014, Beth served as a Development Associate at the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon, focusing on Catholic parish stewardship, annual fund coordination, and communications. Since August 2015, Beth has held the position of Vice President at Steier Group, a national fundraising and development firm. Additionally, Beth co-owns MINUTE MART EXPRESS, a neighborhood market and convenience store, from September 2014 to March 2024. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Philanthropy and Development from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies with a Business minor from Washington State University.
