Michael Eastwood

Michael Eastwood is a versatile professional with extensive experience in music composition and software development. Since April 2015, Michael has worked as a freelance composer for Filmstro, creating orchestral and jazz music. Michael also serves as a software developer for Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, contributing to music notation and education products since November 2012. As a self-employed freelance composer, orchestrator, and copyist since September 2012, Michael has collaborated on twelve feature films with composer George Kallis. Prior to this, Michael was a software developer at Avid Technology and a senior software tester at Sibelius Software, with earlier roles in music education as a visiting teacher and accompanist. Michael holds a BMus in Musical Composition from the Royal Academy of Music.
