Kathy Bowers

Kathy Bowers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. From 2000 to 2017, they worked at Magnesita Refractories, North America, starting as Director of Employee Relations and Development. During their time there, they were promoted to lead Human Resources and organizational development. Kathy served as a business partner to senior executives and provided strategic support for divisional business goals. Kathy also played a key role in the Management Leadership program, collaborating with Penn State University and professional training providers to develop customized course content and facilitate classroom interactions.

In 2018, Kathy joined Strategic Business Partner as a Human Resource Leader and a member of the Board of Directors for NAMI York. Kathy was actively involved with various organizations including the York County Economic Alliance, SCORE, Church of the Open Door, Kavanna House, Give Local York, and Appell Center for the Performing Arts.

Most recently, Kathy worked at Steinman Communications, starting in 2019 as the Director of Human Resources. In July 2021, they were promoted to the position of Chief People Officer.

Kathy Bowers has pursued a field of study related to Human Resources Development at Pennsylvania State University-Penn State York. Kathy has also shown interest in Accounting and Finance and has studied this field at York College of Pennsylvania.
