Uroš Gašperšič

Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities since July 2022, specializing in Alt Data Alpha. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland from June 2020 to August 2022, focusing on revenue-maximizing auctions with differentiable matching, which was accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro also held the position of Co-President at the Smith Investment Fund from September 2018 to December 2021, conducting systematic strategy research. Additional internships include Software Engineer Intern roles at Facebook, working on Assistant Question Answering in 2021 and Civic Integrity in 2020, as well as a Quantitative Research Intern position at Millennium Management LLC in 2019, focusing on VIX and options strategy research. Uro holds a degree from the University of Maryland, completed in 2022, and attended Montgomery Blair High School's Math, Science, and Computer Science Magnet program from 2014 to 2018.
