2nd Class Operating Engineer at STELCO

Tarang Dalwadi has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. In 2015, they started their career as an electrical engineer trainee at Mafatlal Industries Limited, where they worked until 2017. Tarang then joined STELCO - The Steel Company of Canada as a power engineer co-op in 2019 for a duration of three months.

In 2020, Tarang worked as an electromechanical assembler at Amphenol CTI for six months. The following year, they served as a machine technician at Celplast Metallized Products Limited from January to July. Later, they joined Kristofoam Industries Inc. as a 4th class stationary engineer for one month.

From August 2021 to December 2022, Tarang Dalwadi worked as a shift engineer at the Stratford Festival. Currently, they hold the position of a 3rd class operating engineer at STELCO - The Steel Company of Canada, starting from December 2022.

Tarang Dalwadi's education history begins with obtaining a High School Diploma in Electromechanical Engineering Technician (Automation and Robotics) from Centennial College, which took place from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended Mohawk College from 2018 to 2019, where they pursued a degree in 4th class power engineering techniques. In their earlier years, Tarang studied at G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology from 2010 to 2014, where they completed a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.

In addition to their formal education, Tarang has obtained several certifications. Most recently, in November 2022, they acquired a 3rd class operating engineer certification from the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA). They also completed various LinkedIn courses, including "Become a PLC Developer," "Learning Industrial Automation," "Learning PLC Ladder Logic," "PLC Ladder Logic Essential Training," "PLC Memory Organization," "PLC Program Flow and Control Instructions," and "PLC Sequencer Logic," all obtained in July 2022. Tarang gained a Workplace Hazardous Material Information System certification from Worksite Safety in November 2021. Additionally, they obtained an Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act certification from proLearning innovations in July 2021. Tarang also went through a verification process for their international academic qualifications with World Education Services, which was completed in December 2020. Finally, in October 2019, they obtained an Operating Engineer 4th class - Red Seal certification from the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA).
