Chris McNichols, PMP, is a seasoned aerospace systems and integration engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Since July 1997, Chris has been a Senior Aerospace Systems & Integration Engineer at Stellar Solutions, Inc., where responsibilities include serving as the Senior Staff Systems Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) System Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) System Test team and leading the NextGenOPIR GEO System Test for Resiliency since 2019. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Satellite Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin Technical Operations from September 1990 to July 1997, serving as Flight Hardware Lead and anomaly manager for an experimental infrared remote sensing system. Chris began their career in the United States Navy as a Naval Flight Officer from March 1986 to January 1989 after graduating from the Naval Aviation Officer Candidate School. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
