Marrium Mustapher

Marrium Mustapher is a current PhD student in Economics at Stellenbosch University, enrolled from 2023 to 2026. Prior to this, Marrium Mustapher has extensive experience in the financial sector, serving as a Senior Economist at the Reserve Bank of Malawi since March 2012. Previous roles include Economist and Analyst for Authorized Foreign Exchange Dealers at First Merchant Bank and positions as a Risk & Compliance Officer and Credit Officer at the same institution. Marrium Mustapher's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of Leeds, obtained in 2015, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, completed in 2010.
