Melanie Petersen

Melanie Petersen currently serves as Deputy Director at the Centre for Teaching and Learning and Residence Head for Minerva Female Residence at Stellenbosch University, roles held since March 2023. Additionally, Melanie is the Educational Psychologist and Founder of The New Joys Foundation, active since March 2021, where responsibilities include psychoeducational assessments, intervention strategies, and professional development in mental health awareness. Prior experience includes an internship as an Educational Psychologist with WCED Metro North in 2020. Educational background includes attendance at Cloetesville High School from 1984 to 1988.
