Nicolette van den Eijkel

Chief Director of Facilities Management at Stellenbosch University

Nicolette van den Eijkel is the current Chief Director of Facilities Management at Stellenbosch University. Nicolette has over fifteen years of experience in facilities management, strategic planning, contract negotiation, supplier management, service level agreement development, coaching and mentoring of staff, financial management of facilities expenditure, policy development and implementation, training and facilitation.

Nicolette has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of South Africa and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Nicolette van den Eijkel attended the University of the Witwatersrand, where they studied Business Economics, Law, and obtained their BComm. Nicolette then attended Unisa, where they studied for their MDP.

They work with Wim de Villiers - Rector and Vice-Chancellor, Ilhaam Groenewald - Chief Director of Sports, and Choice Makhetha - Senior Director, Student Affairs. Nicolette van den Eijkel reports to Edwin Cameron, Chancellor.
