Cate Murray

Cate Murray has a diverse and extensive background in leadership and communications within the public and health sectors. Currently serving as the President & CEO of the Stem Cell Network since April 2016, Cate has held multiple key roles including Executive Director and Director of Communications & External Affairs. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at CM Consulting, where strategic public affairs were a focus, and as Director of Communications for the Council of Canadian Academies, which supports public policy development. Earlier positions at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research involved senior policy advising and communications roles. Additionally, Cate has experience as a Political Advisor within the Chretien Government, providing strategic communications and support to Cabinet Ministers and Members of Parliament. Cate holds an Honours BA in History from King's University College.
