Kevin Xu

Kevin Xu is an experienced educator specializing in the sciences, currently serving as a Biomedical Science Teacher at STEM Preparatory Schools since August 2022. With a robust background in science education, Kevin previously held positions as Science Teacher and Science Department Head at Democracy Prep Public Schools from August 2016 to June 2022, and as a Biology Teacher at High School for Global Citizenship from August 2014 to July 2016. Kevin's teaching trajectory began as a Teaching Fellow with NYC Teaching Fellows from May 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, Kevin has engaged in various academic support roles, including Resident Assistant and Tutor at the University of Southern California. Kevin holds a Master's Degree in Education from Brooklyn College and two degrees in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Southern California, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree.
