Lucas LaGesse

Program Manager at STEMBoard

Lucas LaGesse has over 25 years of professional experience, starting in the United States Air Force as a Nuclear Weapons Maintenance Technician in 1996. Lucas transitioned to the Air National Guard in 1999, becoming a Modular Air Control Equipment Maintenance Technician. Lucas returned to the Air Force in 2007, starting as a Mission Crew Commander, then Chief of Policy and Evaluations, and later Chief of Client Support Center. LaGesse was then employed by the Defense Intelligence Agency, where they held leadership roles in the Exercise and Contingency Operations Branch and Service Level Management Section. Most recently, they worked for the United States Air Force in various roles, including Plans and Programs Deputy Division Chief, A6 (Cyber) Deputy Division Chief, and Air Force CIO Contracts Branch Chief (Acquisitions Manager). Lucas is currently a Program Manager for STEMBoard, starting in January 2022.

Lucas LaGesse has a diverse education history with four degrees and certifications. Lucas completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2006. Lucas also earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 2006. Additionally, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Lake Superior College in 2003. Lucas went on to complete a Master of Science degree in International Relations and Affairs from Troy University in 2016. Lucas also earned a CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in 2010.
