Adil Kassam

Adil Kassam is a highly experienced professional in the biotechnology and energy sectors, currently serving as Principal Scientist at STEMCELL Technologies since January 2014. In this role, Adil leads the R&D Chemistry Team, focusing on the development of innovative products for cell separation using magnetic nanoparticles. Previously, as Senior Scientist, Adil provided strategic leadership to a 16-member Particle Chemistry team and facilitated collaboration across departments to advance product development. Adil's earlier roles include Research Scientist at E-One Moli Energy, where development of high-capacity batteries was pursued, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Dalhousie University specializing in Li-ion battery cathode materials. Adil holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from McGill University and a B.Sc.E. in Engineering Chemistry from Queen's University.
