Rita Chao is currently a Research Associate at STEMCELL Technologies, having started in 2024. Previously, they held a Cell Delivery Technology Co-op position where they optimized cell transfection systems and managed multiple projects. Earlier in 2023, Rita completed a Drug Delivery and Formulations Co-op at Cytiva, where they manufactured LNPs and analyzed experimental data. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry for Medical Sciences at the University of Victoria, expected to graduate in 2025.
