Dawn LaPlante

Dawn LaPlante has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dawn is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at StemExpress since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked for PowerSchool Group LLC as the VP of Human Resources from February 2017 to April 2022. In 2015, they held the position of VP of Global Human Resources at Rimini Street and Nanometrics in 2014.

Dawn'searlier work experience includes serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at VeriFone from March 1998 to October 2013. Dawn also held various roles in human resources management at Resumix, Applied Materials, and Resumix, Inc. throughout the 1990s.

Dawn LaPlante has a strong educational background in Human Resources. Dawn earned their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Oakland University, where they attended from 1982 to 1985. Dawn later pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources at the University of San Francisco, where they studied from 1997 to 1999.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dawn also holds multiple certifications in the field. Dawn obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in November 1999. Later, in 2006, they obtained the Senior Professional, Human Resources certification from HRCI. Additionally, Dawn acquired the SHRM HR Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management in September 2015.
