Peter Illés

Peter Illés is the current Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at STEMI, a position they have held for 4 years and 5 months. Peter is responsible for managing operation communication with customers, providing concepts and designs for general product architecture and internal processes, development of support applications and intranet systems, steering of development within small-size team with JIRA, and maintaining development of the product on Android and iOS platform. Prior to their current role, they served as IT Manager at Záchranná služba Košice for 1 year and 9 months where they were responsible for innovation of local infrastructure and IT processes, preparation of IT Procurement prerequisities, IT Implementations according to required cyber security rules, enterprise network layout design and implementation, fullstack management of HW and SW in small datacentre including physical servers, NAS-es, switches, business gateways, surveliance systems, covering full support for endpoints (rescue stations) in various regions from Infrastructure, HW, SW, to user support, daily operation / field support, digitalization concepts, and handling small operation team of 2-3 persons. Peter also has experience as an Administrator and Developer at Národný Inšpektorát Práce for 13 years and 7 months as well as an Application developer, process designer at ServisExperta, s.r.o. for 10 years and 2 months. Additionally, they served as Intranet application developer and designer at ŠTOR CAD Computers s.r.o. for 1 year and 11 months and as a Microsoft SharePoint developer at YMS for 3 months.

Peter Illés has a Master's degree from the Technical University of Kosice in the field of Faculty of Electronics and Informatics. Peter also has a degree from the High Electrotechnical school in Kosice in the field of Computers & Electroncs. Lastly, they are LPIC Certificated Exam 1 certified from the Linux Professional Institute.
