Kess McSwain

Research Associate at Stemson Therapeutics

Kess graduated from Wake Forest University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in biology along with a chemistry minor. Kess gained further experience in research at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine where he expanded and developed assays to integrate into a novel organ microchip to model pulmonary damage and evaluate prophylactic countermeasures. At Stemson, he supports the cell culture and surgical teams in the R&D department to further understand hair follicle development. Outside of lab, Kess enjoys playing tennis, going on runs with his dog, and is excited to pick up surfing.
