Sara Abumeri

Sara graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurosciences and in 2020 with a Master's of Science in Biology from UC San Diego. During her Master's, she studied developmental neurobiology, examining the central nervous system to learn more about cell specification and motor neuron biology of the spinal cord. She supports Stemson by working on the R&D cell culture team on iPSCs to better understand hair follicle growth and development. Sara is an Ohio native and enjoys cooking, movies and spending time with her family.
