STEMSTART is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to high-quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education for K–12 students.

Founded and led by PhD students, STEMSTART develops and delivers hands-on educational programs, community workshops, and outreach initiatives designed to foster curiosity, confidence, and long-term engagement in STEM fields. Our mission is to bridge opportunity gaps by making STEM learning approachable, inclusive, and inspiring for youth of all backgrounds—particularly those from underrepresented communities. Through collaborative partnerships with schools, local organizations, and STEM professionals, we aim to cultivate the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
