Carlos Rodríguez-Morcillo

Carlos Rodríguez-Morcillo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Carlos began their career in 1999 as a Qualified Technician at DYCEC, where they worked until 2000. In 2001, they joined Universidad Pontificia Comillas as a Research Assistant, a role they held until 2007. From 2007 to 2021, Carlos served as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the same institution. In 2008, they started working at the Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica, initially as a General Secretary until 2017, and later as the BioEngineering Area Coordinator until 2021. In 2018, Carlos became a Co-Founder and Head of Hardware Development at Stemy Energy. Most recently, they were appointed as the Director of the Research Results Transfer Office at Universidad Pontificia Comillas in December 2021.

Carlos Rodríguez-Morcillo completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1995 to 2001, they attended Universidad Pontificia Comillas and obtained a degree in Electronics Engineering, with a specialization in Digital electronics and communications. Then, from 2001 to 2007, they pursued a PhD in Electronics Engineering from the same institution, focusing on the field of Digital electronics and communications. Following that, between 2010 and 2013, Carlos attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid where they obtained a Master's degree in Communication Technologies and Systems, specializing in Telecommunications.
