James Hutcheson

James Hutcheson is an experienced Process Safety Superintendent at Stena Drilling since November 2010, responsible for the development and maintenance of Safety Cases across the company's rig fleet, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Prior roles at Stena included Asset Integrity Engineer and Compliance Coordinator, where responsibilities involved coordinating verification activities, liaising with regulatory bodies, and assisting in safety documentation. James began a career in the industry at Transocean as a REP Trainee and at Dynamic Positioning Services as a Student Placement/Trainee Survey Engineer. James holds a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Robert Gordon University and a Higher National Diploma in Mechatronics from North East Scotland College.
