Stuart Addison

Stuart Addison is an experienced rig management professional currently serving as Rig Manager at Stena Drilling Limited since July 2018, overseeing operations on the Stena Icemax. Prior to this role, Stuart held the position of Sr Toolpusher at Stena Drilling Ltd from March 2014, preparing for a contract with Statoil for offshore drilling in Angola. Stuart has a strong background with Transocean, where responsibilities included Toolpusher and Sr Toolpusher roles, notably managing drilling operations for ExxonMobil's Janz Field infrastructure. Stuart's extensive career in the drilling industry began in 1996, with various positions ranging from drill crew to Night Toolpusher, culminating in over 12 years with GSF and Transocean. Education includes completion of studies at Buckie High School and Banff and Buchan College.
