Emily Oscarson

Emily Oscarson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Emily started their career at Teleperformance, where they held multiple roles and steadily progressed from an accounting clerk to a licensing coordinator. Emily'sresponsibilities included overseeing insurance agents' licenses, maintaining the company's insurance and business licenses, and tracking fixed assets. Emily also played a key role in coordinating physical inventory and assisting with month- and year-end closes.

In 2011, Emily joined the Chicago Underground Film Festival as a festival coordinator and co-programmer. Emily successfully organized programming logistics for fundraising and outreach events and managed the Annual Film Festival's finances.

In 2012, Emily became part of Serious Motion Pictures, LLC, where they initially worked as a production assistant before being promoted to line producer, director, and editor. Emily'sresponsibilities included location shoot preparation and booking, editing, post-production coordination, and client interface.

Emily's experience in the film industry continued at IFP Chicago, where they served as an operations manager. Emily effectively ran operations for this independent filmmaker organization, organizing monthly events and managing a volunteer staff.

Most recently, Emily joined Steno as a video manager in 2021. Emily later transitioned to the role of project manager and is currently serving as a program manager.

Emily Oscarson attended the College of DuPage from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Art History, Criticism and Conservation. Emily then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2009 to 2013.
