Justin Mortensen

Justin Mortensen has extensive work experience as a software engineer. Justin is currently working at Steno as a Senior Software Engineer since April 2020. Previously, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at The Baby Box Company from June 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they automated the code build system, developed a Node Rest API platform, and worked on product UI requests. Before that, they worked at Nasty Gal as a Senior iOS App Developer from June 2012 to March 2017. Justin was responsible for maintaining and updating the iOS eCommerce apps and transferring the transactional email system to the Sales Force platform. Prior to that, Justin worked at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC as a Software Engineer from June 2010 to June 2012. In this role, they worked on a web app and repurposed Bugzilla instances to track products and raw materials. Justin started their career at The Active Network as a Software Engineer from February 2008 to June 2010, where they customized a JAVA web application and integrated the Paypal payment gateway.

Justin Mortensen attended the University of Utah from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
