Susanne Knoll, PhD (苏珊）

Susanne Knoll, PhD has a varied work experience. Susanne began their career in 2012 as a Trainee at the Generation Food Project. Susanne then held a voluntary position as an Adviser in Organic Agriculture at Anama-Ação Nascente Maquiné from 2012-2015. In 2013 they began working as a Researcher - Meat Export Supply Chain Analyst at NESPRO - UFRGS. In 2015 they took on a Visiting Researcher position at NANJING AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY. From 2015-2018 they were Co-Owner of Jánosmajor Farm, where they were responsible for project development of donkey milk utilization for cosmetic purposes directed to the European and Chinese markets, as well as monitoring policy changes of the European Common Agricultural Policy. From 2018-2021 they held two positions simultaneously: Project Manager & International Market Analyst at Vion Food Group and Project Manager at Erzeugergemeinschaft Südbayern E.G. In 2021 they founded and became the Owner of Herba Sulk, a small herb producing and processing company with the main focus on pet and humane alternative treatments against stress and parasites. Susanne also founded and became the Co-owner of SulkDesign. Susanne is currently an Account Manager at stenon, a position they have held since 2022.

Susanne Knoll, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Agribusiness from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in 2017. Susanne also holds a Graduate Diploma of Agricultural Engineering from the University of Kaposvár, which they earned from 2005 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010, they were an exchange student at Wageningen University & Research, where they studied Animal Sciences.
