Elizabeth Gibbison (TEP) is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a member and chair of the Law Society Private Client Solicitors Section Advisory Committee since October 2023. Gibbison also contributes to the STEP local branch committee for the North East and Cumbria and holds the position of Associate Solicitor in the Private Client Services team at Irwin Mitchell since November 2021, focusing on succession, tax, and asset protection planning. Gibbison co-founded Business & Brood from April 2020 to January 2023 and previously held associate and assistant solicitor roles at Short Richardson & Forth Solicitors and Hay & Kilner. The legal career commenced at Samuel Phillips Law Firm and included positions as a trainee solicitor and legal research assistant at Durham University. Gibbison completed a Master of Jurisprudence and LPC at Durham University and The University of Law, respectively, following an LLB degree from Durham University.
