Louise Polcaro is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications at STEP since June 2007, where responsibilities include brand management and oversight of internal and external communications as a member of the Executive Team. Prior to this role, Louise held several positions in the communications field, including Head of Communications and Managing Editor at Newsdesk Media Ltd from 2005 to 2007, and Managing Editor at CSL Publishing from 2002 to 2005. Louise earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in the History of Art from the University of Nottingham, attended from 1999 to 2002.

STEP is the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations, offering training and development to a global network of trust and estate practitioners. All STEP members belong to a branch or chapter that provides professional development and opportunities to network with peers at a local level.
