Donna Rochford has a significant amount of work experience in the education sector. Donna started their career in 1996 at Corpus Christi Primary School, where they worked as a Class Teacher before progressing to the role of Deputy Head Teacher. In 2015, they became a Teaching and Learning Consultant in Primary Education while working as a self-employed professional. Rochford then joined THE STEP ACADEMY TRUST in 2017 as the Deputy Headteacher and held this position until 2022. In 2022, they advanced their career by becoming the Head Teacher at STEP Academy Trust. Overall, Rochford has demonstrated a strong commitment to the education field and has progressively taken on more leadership responsibilities throughout their career.
Donna Rochford completed their primary education from 1985 to 1992 at Coloma Convent Girls School. Donna then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theology and Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from Leeds Trinity University, which they completed from 1992 to 1996.

The name, an acronym, reflects the aspirational nature of the organisation - Striving Together for Excellence in Partnership.
