John Whitehouse is a Trainer/Assessor at Step Ahead. Prior to that, they were with Welfare To Work Partnership from November 2019 to December 2020 where they were an AEB/Traineeship Tutor.
Some of their responsibilities included carrying out Open Days, completing administrative duties, liaising with various JCPs and organisations, delivering lessons to Traineeship and AEB learners, continuously evaluating teacher performance and learner experience, creating learner friendly recourses, and engaging in Matrix, IQA, Quality and OFSTED processes.
In addition, they also created a 9 to 12-week ESOL schedule, scheme of work, lesson plans, activities and Open Day process. John also created x 3 Level 1 AEB Pathway opportunities to support external referral source needs.
John has also received training in customer service and is able to provide bespoke customer service to all they meet.
John Whitehouse attended Toynbee School where they achieved GCSE passes in Science, Geography, Design Realisation, German, English Lang & English Lit, Maths, and Physical Education. John then studied LEAN Manufacturing at HighField and achieved a qualification from City and Guilds PTLLS in Recreation from Eastleigh College. Finally, they studied for a CITB Health and Safety in the Construction Enviroment qualification from City and Guilds.
John Whitehouse reports to Nicole Sutton, Training Centre Manager. They work with Emily Bunu - Trainer/Assessor, Andrew Mongi - Trainer/Assessor, and Poppy Gardner - Training Co-Ordinator.
