Jan Stern Reed

Jan Stern Reed is the current Director at Stepan Company. Prior to their current position, they served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Walgreens Boots Alliance from February 2015 to February 2016. Jan was also the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Walgreens from February 2013 to February 2016. From December 2004 to September 2012, they were the Executive Vice President - Human Resources, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Solo Cup Company. Prior to that, they served as the Associate General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Governance Officer at Baxter from February 1997 to November 2004. Jan began their career as Corporate Counsel at Waste Management, Inc. from December 1987 to December 1996. Jan then worked as an Associate at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd from December 1983 to December 1987.

Jan Stern Reed received their JD from Northwestern University School of Law and their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
