Alex Pitcher

Alex Pitcher has a strong background in risk management and has held various roles throughout their career. Alex most recently served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at StepChange Debt Charity since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at TransUnion as the Global Head of Risk from 2018 to 2023 and as Head of Risk from 2018 to 2023. Alex also worked at Yorkshire Building Society Group as a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk from 2016 to 2018. Furthermore, they held positions at PwC as a Senior Manager in Operational, Enterprise, and Prudential Risk Management from 2015 to 2016 as well as in Risk Assurance Services from 2013 to 2015. Alex'searly career included roles at Royal Bank of Scotland in Operational Risk from 2009 to 2013 and in Fraud Detection and Prevention from 2006 to 2009.

Alex Pitcher attended the University of St Andrews from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Master of Mathematics (MMath) degree with a specialization in Mathematics.
