Paula Hernandez Forero

Paula Hernandez Forero has a wealth of professional experience in the education and business sectors. Paula began their career in 2008 as an Actuarial Analyst for Seguros Bolívar S.A. In 2011, they moved to McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst. In 2013, they became a Global Fellow for Acumen Fund, where they were an Operations and Strategy Associate for Edubridge. In 2015, Paula was a Business Development Associate for Avanti Learning Centres, and in 2016 they were a Strategy and Operations Associate for Zaya Learning Labs. In 2021, they joined On Deck as a Founder Fellowship (ODF8). Paula is currently a Co-Founder of Kavi and Head of Student Operations at Stepful.

Paula Hernandez Forero received their BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes in 2008, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Paula then went on to obtain their Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Engineering from the same university in 2010, graduating Cum Laude. In 2014, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
