Lynne Kent

Grandmother2grandmother Campaign at Stephen Lewis Foundation

Lynne Kent has extensive experience in various leadership roles focused on community engagement and advocacy, particularly in women's organizations and environmental conservation. Currently serving as the Member Relations Director for The University Women's Club of Vancouver, Lynne is also involved as a Membership Chair for the Society for the Promotion of Environmental Conservation and as President of the Canadian Federation of University Women E-Club. Additional contributions include participation in the Grandmothers Advocacy Network and the Grandmother2Grandmother Campaign through the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Lynne's past leadership includes positions such as Chair of the Learning Disabilities Association of BC and President of YWCA Canada, where efforts were made to promote women's safety and well-being. Educational credentials include an Honours BA in Psychology from the University of Toronto and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution, Mediation, and Negotiation from the Justice Institute of BC.
