Andrew Knox

Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and is head of the Restructuring and Insolvency team based in the Exeter office. Andrew joined Stephens Scown in 2007 and became a partner in 2014.

Andrew holds an LLB Honours degree in Business Law from Bournemouth University and a PG DIP in Legal Practice from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.

Andrew acts for clients from a wide range of industries but with particular experience of insolvency in the mining and minerals sector, engineering and technology sectors.

Andrew is a full member of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association and the Devon & Somerset Law Society. He has also spoken at a number of outside events on matters of insolvency law, including to the South West Society of Chartered Accountants.
