Steve Barker

Steve Barker has extensive experience in technology and software engineering, currently serving as Executive Director (Technology) at Steplab since October 2021, where responsibilities have included roles as Director of Technology and Lead Software Engineer. Prior to Steplab, Steve worked at Gousto as a Software Engineer from September 2019 to October 2021 and held multiple positions at JustPark from September 2015 to September 2019, including Software Engineer and QA Automation Engineer. Previous experience also includes personal assistance while self-employed, freelance web development for clients such as the University of York and Engine Group, as well as roles in sales at Virgin Atlantic and LOVEFiLM. Steve holds an MSc and a BA from the University of Sussex, completed between 2011 and 2015.
