Stepping Stone House
Thomas Hill is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community services and education. Currently serving as a Schools as Community Centres Facilitator at the NSW Department of Education since July 2023, Thomas has also held the position of Youth Worker and Family Restoration Worker at Stepping Stone House since August 2018. Previous roles include Community Development Worker and Family Specialist at Counterpoint Community Services from September 2018 to May 2023, as well as a Schools as Community Centres Facilitator at the NSW Department of Education earlier in 2023. Thomas is the Founder and Executive Director of the Make a Change Foundation, a position held from February 2012 to January 2017. Educational qualifications include ongoing Honours in English (Poetics and Australian Literature) at the University of Sydney, a Bachelor's Degree in English and Modern History from the same institution, a Diploma of Community Services from TAFE, and a high school diploma from Saint Augustine's College.

Stepping Stone House provides a safe place for children and young people at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. We assist those in our care to begin to heal, build resilience, create connection and become the very best they can be. For over 30 years, Stepping Stone House has been a dedicated community providing long-term accommodation and exceptional support for young people aged 12-24 years. Our mission is to end youth homelessness in Australia.
