Laura Washington started their work experience as a Director of Drug Prevention Services at SSTAR in 2001. Laura implemented strategies in various grants and built community readiness and coalitions. Laura conducted needs assessments, developed strategic plans, and implemented community prevention programs. Laura held this role until October 2016.

In November 2016, Laura became the Director of Business Development at Begin Now. In this role, they identified trendsetter ideas, conducted public speaking engagements, and explored potential business deals. Laura also hosted The Hidden Truth Radio Show on WSAR 1480. Laura held this position until December 2017.

From 2017 to the present, Laura has been a Public Speaker and Radio Show Personality at WSAR 1480.

In October 2018, Laura transitioned to become the Director at Steppingstone Incorporated.

Lastly, Laura currently works as a Real Estate Agent at Anchor Realty, starting in May 2022.

Laura Washington pursued their Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix, which they completed between 2011 and 2013. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2006, they attended the Trundy Institute of Addiction Studies to gain expertise in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling, Treatment and Prevention.
