Lili Calahan

Dance Instructor at Steps On Broadway

Lili Calahan is an experienced therapist with an extensive background in mental health and counseling services. Currently serving as a therapist at Phelps Counseling Services since May 2010, Lili has also held roles as a dance instructor at Steps On Broadway since January 2002, and previously worked as a therapist at Phelps Memorial Hospital's Continuing Day Treatment Program for adults with mental illness from August 2006 to August 2008. Additional experience includes social work internships at New York Presbyterian Hospital in 2005 and at Youth Empowerment Mission, Inc., where Lili contributed to the Blossom Program for Girls. Lili holds a Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, earned between 2004 and 2006, with a focus on health, mental health, and disabilities.

Steps on Broadway, founded in 1979, is more than just a dance studio. It is an internationally recognized community of artists, committed to the cultivation of individuality and talent, to the joy, the work, the focus, and the abandon of dance. Classes are offered seven days a week at all levels in ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, tap, theater dance, hip hop, ethnic, and body conditioning.
